This campaign for the Ellis Island Museum aimed to reframe immigration as a deeply human story shared by millions of Americans, rather than a political issue. Using compelling headlines, emotional storytelling, and striking historical visuals, the ads invited viewers to reconnect with their ancestry and the sacrifices of those before them. While I didn’t create the campaign concept, I helped bring it to life through art direction—overseeing visual execution, photo selection, and layout design to enhance the powerful narratives. The goal was to create a look that honored the immigrant journey’s gravity and hope, while making it accessible and emotionally resonant for today’s audience. The result was a series of cohesive, heartfelt print ads that encouraged visitors to see Ellis Island not just as a museum, but as a reflection of their own roots.
